Beautiful place right on the water. Great food and service. Staff was accommodating and kind.

Food was delicious but the plastic menus were not wiped off after every use, we watched the server put them in the holder and the hostess came and got them and put them on the pile out front.

This place is amazing! The food is just Divine! They do give you big portions so definitely worth your money. The resturant is right on the water, with a beautiful view. The staff is super friendly and always attentive. They are a little pricey, but definitely worth it! They are also a seafood resturant, so people with allergies, must be careful! Overall a great place to eat, I will eat there again!

I like this restaurant very much. It has a romantic air. The kitcen is good. the service is effective and the team is courteous. The cost is decent. I definitely recommend.

I revisited a few months back and it didn't disappoint. The food was great, view was fantastic, and the staff friendly, courteous and efficient. Made our table feel welcome instantly. This spot knows how to take care of their clients. Constantly with a very nice demeanor. The food is affordably priced, always delightful and neat.

I like this restaurant! They offer fantastic dishes, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that spot is very experienced, I enjoy a lot eating all their dishes. The food is always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the clients is friendly. I visit often this place and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.

For the price you pay here you don’t get your money’s worth. Drinks were very good but the food left a lot to be desired. Lobster tail was overcooked, the blackened rockfish didn’t have enough seasoning to be called blackened. Absolutely don’t get the little neck clams. They tasted rotten and I’m pretty sure they served me heated canned or frozen clams in store bought empty shells. I know seafood and something wasn’t right. Waitress was overbooked and wasn’t able to be very attentive. I know I won’t bother to stop by here in the future.

A recent trip to Calvert County, MD brought me in search of good seafood. I found this location, with a coworker of mine and it was so good that we came back twice! Location is easy to find, but get there early or parking is difficult. Wait staff was very friendly and seated us quickly. The first night was chilly, but we sat outside and got a great view of the docks. The second night was much colder, so we chose seats by the bar, but still a great view. Food was very good and the service was amazing! A must if you’re in the area!

Was pretty good. Great crab dip. My fish and chips was pretty bland could have been more seasoned. Over good would return again.

Hubby and I just had our 12 year anniversary dinner here. The food was amazing! Ribeye was delish and did not need seasoning.The calamari was lightly fried and not heavy.The crab legs were cooked perfectly and slid right out of the shell. Our service was great. Will definitely be back!

Yesterday was our first time we came to that restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the finest cooking and fine drinks and with the honest price. We will absolutely return there in a short time.

This place is absolutely one of the tastiest place to eat in the area. Always when I come to this place I am absolutely pleased. They always keep their very high level service and the topmost level of dishes they serve. You always win with this place. Very recommended.

Fast friendly service with a great view and AMAZING food 🤩

Visited on an off season cold Saturday. Crab stuffed shrimp with fries was excellent as was a cold pint. Lots of elbow room between the tables and a good view of water and boats. Attentive friendly staff. Figure on $40 or more per person.

One of the very few places in MD that we liked enough to go to more than once. We've tried dozens of crab cakes throughout the state and the angry style crab cakes here are top 3 for us, probably even our favorite (the normal one was simply ok). Very friendly staff, great outdoor seating and view of water.

Despite the great views of the water, Lighthouse isn’t my first or second choice of restaurants in Solomons. They have the lowest standards when it comes to hostesses and it always leaves a bad impression even if my meal is great. You can count on being greeted with a blank stare and total indifference, if you are greeted at all. If you can make it past that point, things typically get better. Absolutely fantastic Island/water views all around. The waitstaff is usually pleasant and competent. Food ranges from ok to amazing, it really just depends on how busy, who is working etc. I recommend the Boom Boom Shrimp.

Food was decent, but not excellent and considering the price I expected the portions and the taste to be much better.

Excellent location with personable accommodating staff. Double cut pork chops to 'die for' along with best crab cake sandwich & signature cream crab soup. Do not pass without stopping here. You will not be disappointed !!!!

Place was clean and they used social distancing between tables. Masks were used by servers. The food, drinks and service was great. It was a nice atmosphere . It felt almost normal.

This restaurant is certainly one of the coolest restaurants in the area. Whenever I go there I am awfully satisfied. They preserve their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

This is a nice restaurant in Solomon's Island. On a busy night parking can be a little tough. The restaurant was very clean and nice (outside would have been even nicer in the early Fall), but it was a little pricey. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. I think expectations matter. Had the prices been a little cheaper per meal I would have rated it higher, but all things considered I have to say Average.

Love this place. Great seafood and drinks. Their is a drive up dock Outback and patio eating. It's a great place to hang out on a warm evening. It's really busy so call ahead. It's also $$ but on par with the other restaurants in Solomon's.

Good atmosphere whether you are looking a happy hour or family sit down. The food is the general Southern Maryland /Solomons seafood fare and is good quality (not the best but good). Local Tip, happy hours are half priced apps and drink specials, go and try a bunch of apps (grouper fingers) they are great.

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, and great air conditioning!It was HOT the day we went! We were pleased to find their indoor dining open, with all the CDC guidelines being followed. I can't recommend this tremendous local restaurant strongly enough!

Great place. Good food

The food was ok. But the attitude of the owner/manager, whatever he is was terrible. A person the runs a business should never discuss issues that our country are so divided on. Especially if it’s false information. He didn’t like me correcting him, so he was rude to me and I had just spent 60 bucks there trying to do my part on helping restaurants that are affected by this pandemic! I’ll never go back there again!!!

The shrimp wrap is very easy to eat and the tomato/lettuce is barely noticeable, making a solid all-around flavor.

The "angry" crab cake was delicious! The calamari was lightly battered, and very tasty. I recommend the 'Boom Boom' sauce with the calamari over the Thai Chili. The blacked rockfish was good. All portions were generous.

Stopped in after hiking Calvert Cliffs and it was just perfect for lunch! Food and drinks were delicious, service was fast and friendly. Lastly the view is relaxing and beautiful.

The lighthouse is a great place to relax and have a good meal in good company at a reasonable price. I don't recommend the fried oyster patter though because what you get is more like an appetizer, but everything else my wife and I have had there has been great proportionately and has tasted great!...and the bartender, Page, does a spectacular job running the bar and is an extremely nice person.

The lighthouse restaurant was great. Great location, with great views on the water. They had a good selection on the menu which would accommodate any one in your family. My wife had the crab soup and cobb salad with fish and I had the cream of crab soup and a prime rib sandwich. The food was prepared perfectly and very tasty. Our server Lexie was spot on and very efficient. Can't say anything negative, the experience was well worth it and I will be going back to try other items on the menu.

I highly recommend The Lighthouse Restaurant and Dock Bar! After months of working with Nick to plan our wedding and reception at his establishment, it went off with out a hitch. From the delicious food to the amazing servers, I can not thank them enough for catering to our every need and want for our cocktail hour and reception. Our wedding guest had a blast and made sure to announce how great the food was! I want to give a big shout out to the owners for going above and beyond for us, it was simply a perfect day! We will definitely be back soon!

We have been going to the light house since they opened. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is always warm and friendly. Highly recommend the key lime crush. We always try to make it down when the weather is nice so we can sit on the outside deck overlooking water. Weekends they have live entertainment on the deck which is always fun and upbeat. The food is always delicious. If you haven’t been I highly recommend a trip down to Solomon’s island to try the Light House!

Visited on a Sunday in late afternoon February. Extremely busy! Views were beautiful, waitress was attentive, bar and tables around us were full. Disappointed with crab dip appetizer. Tasted no crab meat. Other folks in my party enjoyed the hamburger and cream of crab soup. House salad was huge. We had a large group so they kindly placed us in corner of large dining room. Parking is minimal, so plan to do the public parking(free) and walk. Bathrooms were clean.

Food is fine. Teenaged staff is not trained in providing safe service during Covid19. We ordered Fried Oysters, which were quite good, and crab cake, which was fine and mostly crab meat instead of fillers as you find in many other places.The outside deck as fairly nice for seating.The servers in the front of the restaurant were wearing masks, and it seemed very well organized. However, when we got to the deck, it was clear that the operation was overwhelmed.The deck in the back was a nice place to sit, and they initially sat us spaced out appropriately. Then a large family came, and the teenage staff loudly prepared two table together for the family, almost right next to us. We asked to be moved, and they did find a more safe table for us.Our server was wearing her mask on her chin, exposing her moth and nose. This is not a good place to go if you are worried about the spread of Covid19.

Great food and first class management --😊 Had a wedding reception in the upstairs room and the view was spectacular. Service staff is excellent - highly skilled customer service by genuinely nice, and friendly people. They easily breeze right through a group of 70 from set up to clean up, including packing many To Go boxes for guests. Delicious London Broil, crab cakes Everyone had fun. It was delightful. Wonderful, fresh seafood in a beautiful waterside setting with warm service and fair prices.

We did not feel safe here on Saturday evening. The bar was overcrowded (against COVID regulations), there was no enforcement when customers didn't follow mask rules, and with one exception, not a single male employee we saw had their nose covered. Masks don't work if you uncover the nose. (The female employees were ALL wearing their masks properly).The food and service were top-notch as always, which is why we used to come here frequently. Maybe we will go back someday, but it is going to be a while...

Pleasant outside with good service. Food is what you can see in the pictures they've posted, basically what I'd call fast food, breaded and fried everything, plus some salads.

The Crab Cake alone is worth the visit! Always very Satisfied with anything I order! My favorite spot in Solomons Island, Md.
